We average around 15 cubic meters a month; 3,962 gallons. There are 5 of us, so that's roughly 26 gallons a day per person.

Wait, you mean there's another water bathing source besides the bayou?

We average around 80-85 gallons/day/person. And we have lower flush toilets, front loading washers, low use dishwasher, low flow shower heads, etc. etc. Cost is around $75/mo including sewer.

Here is what we use. It's in Cubic Meters, each cubic meter is 264 gallons.

Water is high in the summer because of the gardens. High in the winter because of the humidifier on the furnace. (Our house leaks air like crazy because it's old)

Just the 2 of us and the dogs.

All I know is it's $62.xx per month. I think they add like $5.xx per thousand so I don't even hit the thousand gallon mark apparently. They finally gave us online bill pay and I think I paid them $300.00 so I could not worry about paying the bill for a while. I kept paying it a few days late and they would add like $6.85 to the bill.

Man, some of you have expensive utilities! My water/sewer/trash is all city run, breakdown is as follows:

$3.63/unit per month for water, plus $5 "fixed charge"

$4,21/unit per month for sewer, plus $5.20 "fixed charge"

$24.53/mo for trash, plus a $5 "large cart" fee

Plus taxes, I'm all in for between $70-$90 a month. Not bad considering the major metro area I live in!

32 gallons/day/person. Just the Wife And I. Runs us around $40 a month. I guess we don't use much. Just bought a new washing machine that is a water saver. Our yard is low maintenance and uses no water other then the rain we get.

My billing cycle is every 2 months in which we use about 10000 gal. In turn, this is 166 gal/day. Water is cheap in my area and this calculates to ~ $48 per billing cycle($24/mo).

I never look, but it's quite a bit this time of year. With high temperatures, low humidity, and wind, our pool can lose up to an inch a day from evaporation. I never checked it because it has auto fill. But if I pull the cover off the auto fill valve, I can hear it running constantly. Between that and 2, 40 foot palms that get water daily, what the wife and I use doesn't matter much. I think last month it was $90.00, or thereabouts.

2 people, long showers, lots of clothes washing on max size, dishwasher 3x a week on sanitize(uses most water of all settings)

toilets are 1.6gpf., brush teeth with water running, RO water filter around 3-5gal a day (which means 6-10gal to make the RO water)

I'd say not at all water conserving, but we dont water the yard, no pool, hottub etc.. around 50Gal day/person

2 to 3 units(unit is 1000gal) 53. to 59 dollars. Includes sewer and unlimited garbage.

Newer smart irrigation timers get a feed from the local weather station and water when needed. Rather than daily its once or twice a week for a long watering time per zone. You want to develop deep roots.

According to my water meter readings, my family of 6 uses about 4000 gal per month. I get billed quarterly for 12-13K gallons.

We are on a 45yr/old septic system so we try to be conscious of how much goes down the drains.

Don't forget that it takes a lot of water to produce gasoline. While not on your water bill, you still end up paying for it when you buy gas.

I can see it would be easy to average the use of 100 gallons a day per person if there are daily long showers (or two by some people), lots of toilet flushing and lots of loads of laundry and dishwasher runs. Some families operate like that.
