My car has 600KM on it and if i floor it how much damage will occur? i have a itch to floor it everytime i drive it!

Scratch that itch. Just don't keep flooring it for prolonged times. Vary RPM all the time.

Just floor it until you hear a big bang!
Drive a car with 100 hp everyday. You'll no longer have fears of flooring it, or redlining it for that matter!

in the book it doesnt say anything about going fast or high rpm but i always read people's post about break ins its a LS7
Make sure it's up to operating temp, and then you can open the throttle all the way anytime that you like. It's probably good for ti, at this stage. Sustained operation at redline will have to wait a little while, however.

Try to avoid flooring it in first gear. That's tough on the transmission. Otherwise your car should easily handle "flooring".
Put a brick under the gas pedal. It'll be that much closer to the floor.
A lot of damage can occur if you hit the car in front of you
If the engine is good and warmed up, it shouldnt hurt anything. It is a lot easier on the car to floor it at speed instead of at a dead stop however. If you already have 600 KM on the car it's already broken in 90% of the way
I always like when my Mom and Dad come over, have to go blow the cob webs out of there 06 Impalla SS. Have to let them motors breathe every once in awhile!

I assume you're talking about your new Z06 Corvette. If so, then you have no worries about going full throttle any time you want, as long as you wait until your oil is at 180F or hotter.
A lot of Corvette guys are afraid to go full throttle until they get 500 miles on their engine, but there is no need to be afraid. These engines can take it.
Another little known fact is that if you break something in your drivetrain in a Z06, even while racing it on a track, GM will cover it under warranty! It's the only vehicle that GM will do this with (they won't do this with a regular Corvette) The only stipulation is that you cannot modify the car, such as with drag radials or nitrous.
Someone in Toronto with a new Z06 busted his rear end at the dragstrip last fall, and GM roadside assistance came and picked up the car and his local GM dealer fixed it for him.

Fnny you mentin this post lol. When i was about 19, i had a 1985 Isuzu hatchback, 2 door...small peppy car. It rode nice!I idnt stay on the basics of car care back then, changeing the oil plugs ect. One day,i let it warm up, HOT HOT humid day, and then floored it in park, all the sudden, i heard crrack, ker plucnk, ker plunk ker plunk, rod bearing snapped
It had about 97,000 miles on it, thats all. After that was when i got into and took self car care serious! lol

Revving a motor with no load on it is much more harmful than when it's in gear and pulling the vehicle.
