My local Autozone seems to have an unlimited supply of GC, 17 quarts on the shelf, and get this...Syntec is on sale for 3.99 a quart. I bought all 17 bottles. It gets better, they have Havoline synthetic 5w30 or 10w30 on clearance for $2 dollars a quart

, that's incredible! I bought 10 quarts for my girlfriends corolla, the GC is for my BMW!

I went yesterday and bought some on sale. The guy at the counter accidently only rang up 1 and was going to charge me $4.25 for all 5 quarts. Stupid me, I should of took it.

I stopped by the Autozone in Shippensburg, PA on the way home, and NONE of the oils mentioned were on sale. Maybe it's a regional thing?

In Arizona, they also have the Valvoline Maxlife Syn and Havoline Syn for $2. The High Mileage Exxon Superflow 10w-40 is $1 per quart.

Novadude, The GC sale is not a regional thing, its national.
The cash register doesn't discount the price to $3.99 until the end of the sale. When the clerk scans it in, it will ring up as $5.29 or $5.99, when they total your sale, it will discount the price to $3.99. Sale good thru 2/12/05

I don't have an AZ here, so while on Vacation, I bought all 33 bottles in Fargo ND and all 16 bottles in Stevens Point WI. At both location, the clerk had no idea that it was on sale until they totaled the order.

No, I think that when the sub-total button is pressed, the computer/register will discount it at that time. The clerks had no idea that it was on sale.
