I'm Micah and my car is a '97 Nissan Sentra which is about all I had left after the divorce. I hope to learn alot about maintaning my vehicle on these forums. In case you wonder I am using Pennzoil 5W30 high mileage oil. Oil consumption is about a third of a quart every week due to a leaky oil pan gasket.

Freedom is underrated in my opinion Quattro Pete. My son says he'll change the oil pan gasket when he's got time, but maybe I'll jsut take it to a local shop. The timing chain is noisy and should be looked at. The motor is the 1.6 liter four cylinder with MFI. I have been using M1 5W30 for the last few years and I change the oil and filter every 5,000 miles.

Freedom is one thing, peace of mind is another. I had a t-shirt made back in 1980 that was a take on the old Rolaids commercials. On the back it said, "How do you spell relief, DIVORCE". I wore it to court for my final hearing. She was ticked, the judge laughed.
