These have been out a while and we aren't hearing horror stories... So I would imagine they are just as safe as Automotive relays or other house stuff like Cheap LED bulbs from China. I had Ikea LED bulbs with CSA approvals go up in flames/smoke. Luckily it was outdoors in an encased Shed-Light fixture...

For anyone interested. Powered by 110v but the contacts are dry which you could then use to switch whatever you want. This is what I did in some instances... It's cheaper than buying their "dry" version.

I had X-10 as well but a lot of things cause interference with those today.
