I haven't tried it yet. I might someday. I've been satisfied with Firefox. The best part of Linux, however, is that there's no IE.

Run Firefox on Linux...it is astronomically faster than anything Windows can do.


I'm afraid not, at least to me. The initial load on Firefox in Linux is much slower than my Windows 7 load(dual booting). Anything I had in Windows was typically faster in Windows if there was a Linux counterpart. What Linux did well for me was displaying large quantities of data very fast(images, video etc) much faster than Windows. But loading apps at least for me wasn't.
 
Chrome locks up and crashes all the time... nothing but headaches and I gave it several hard months of intensive workout... I always run at least two browsers at the same time... sometimes three or four, usually 2-3, always at least two, never ever less.

I've seen the chrome os browser on a friends pc and he says it works super fast but there's nothing special or fancy about it and I have yet to find a version that can actually load for a mac, although there is an apparent build for one.
