Going out to eat, price or food quality wins?

One could always shoot for low on quality and service, and high on price, and head to your local Outback lol we did yesterday (my wife had a $25 gift card from 2019).

I’ll gladly use local farmers market near me. Quality stuff.
We had cherries qty 2, 2 lb bags, $2.50 at our local produce store. My wife got 2. Went back later in the week, it was qty 2, for $5! the $2.50 was a great deal....

We try to eat out only if it makes sense--out as a day as a family? ok, it might be worth the experience to sit down. Especially if we are nowhere close to home. Seems like it was $100 for a family of 4, assuming we don't go fancy and get lobsters or the like, although this last time was like $120 after the tip, and that was just at TGIF.

I usually make the argument to just go to a grocery store and get subs or the like. Much cheaper. Occasionally it's nice to order in for the convenience, or for something we can't make. But for the most part, I'd rather eat from our pantry. Much cheaper, and the quality is pretty good.
