In the last two weeks I noticed at the Rutter's gas station (regional chain here in Pa. that is Top Tier) that the 89 was actually a penny cheaper than the 87. Wondered why. Now today I stop at a different Rutter's to get gas for my S3 for which I usually use 93. The 89 and 93 were both $3.68 while the 87 was $3.69. I thought 'Great'. I'm catching a deal for some reason. Then I thought about it some more and decided that there probably was no 89 or 93 in their tanks and that it was all 87.
Would that be your guess as to the bargain prices? I've never seen this before.
