Ford Flex rear lighting

Hello, I have a '18 Ford Flex SEL. The right rear blinker/brake light bulb went out. Everywhere I look it says the replacement is a 4157. I removed the factory bulb and it was a 3157. First what is the difference between the two and what should I put in?

They’re almost the same, about a 1.6w difference on the major filament, but same brightness. From what I can find online, the 4157’s are supposed to last a little longer, that’s it.
