I am not saying you're wrong, but this is news to me.

Can you give a few specific examples? Any links or photos? Data?

Just want to understand if I'm in the dark here (wouldn't be the first time in my life ....

Example; Small block chevy. Camshaft rotates 1/2 speed of crankshaft. So camshaft drives oil pump at 1/2 RPM of crankshaft.

There are three different level Wix models for most passenger vehicles. Which one has the 8-11gpm rating? Is it the value priced Wix, or the one priced alongside the Fram Tough Guard and NAPA Gold?
