It's Schumacher, not Shoemaker. Shoemaker was a jockey.

I say this as an F1 fan who doesn't miss watching a race: F1 is much more interesting as a soap opera than as a sporting event.

Perhaps watching the paint dry on his new car... Then again even that might be more exciting.
