Honestly-there are examples of this kind of stuff all over the place. Rivian owners want a full size spare-the factory says $1,200.00 The Rivian owners have found out base RAM silver spoke wheels fit perfectly. And a whole set with tires is less than a $1,000.00 Then there is a Cadillac model where a taillight or headlight costs several thousand.

Start checking around to see what headlight assemblies cost where all the lights are integrated in to one housing. They are not cheap.

You want cheap parts buy a Crown Vic.

There is no "news" here. BTW-I'm not clicking on the link and giving that guy any money.

Yeah, stuff is expensive, but this is ridiculous. No need to click the link, but these tail lights, besides going bad, also caused a no start and and other failures. Interesting to see how it was diagnosed.
