So I drove a good 80 miles today, dropping my cousin off at home I was backing out of his drive way and my truck randomly lost power!

Engine just died on me...

The Emissions light, The Oil Light, and the Battery light all came on, tried restarting, no luck.

Pressed on the fuel reset button under the glove box a few times, then tried again. It ran the 11 miles home just fine..
What gives?
Just put 2 gallons of gas in to top it off
Coolant level is fine
Oil Level is fine
the Battery is 3 months old at most
Spark Plugs are all new
Spark Plug wires are all new
Fuel Filter is only 10k old

It would seem that you found an important clue. I'd either look at that inertia switch or the fuel pump for drawing too much current. I figure the switch isn't an overcurrent device but it may be having its issues.

The truck never gets under a 1/4 of a tank...
I work at a gas station, always fill up at the station I work at..

Those dash lights are suppose to go on if the key is on and the engine is not running.

Fuel reset fixed it?
Did you hit a bump going down the driveway? The 'bump' sensor that tells it to shut off may be the problem.

If you were able to press the button "a few times" it is broken. It isn't supposed to move into the unpressed position until it is jarred such as from a collision. Replace the inertia switch.

Hm? Its been this way since owning the truck from the Local Ford Dealer.
Its happened before, though that was at 82K, I am at 136K

Press on it and it comes back up, never locked

Backed up onto the road which is elevated higher than their driveway, a small bump

Either yours is different from all the Ford inertia switches I've encountered or it's broken. I can't say for sure that yours is the same as what I'm accustomed to. Maybe someone else has an 05 Ranger handy they could use to go check.

No, you are correct. The button should only pop up if the switch has been tripped. It sounds like the switch is faulty.

It shouldn't trip going over bumps either. The switch in my truck has never been tripped and it has been through a wreck.

I would replace the switch.

Figured it out today, looked under the hood, the 3rd gear spark plug wire was loose, turns out I put the spark plug in crooked, so to do it right, I had to take off the coil pack to get a straight shot on the plug with a ratchet, gahh!

I had a good look at everything today, AF check, Oil check, Gas Cap Check, everything was copasetic, except that plug?
I have no idea.
and I dont start drinking till around 7PM, LOL

So I had a "overrev" experience today, where the engine overrevved at 50mph till 55, then seemed to lose power????????

Came home, hit the fuel shut off switch twice, went to start it and everything under the hood was shaking, turned it off, tried it again, same deal, what the heck is going on!?!?!?!?!?!? I hit it one more time, and it started fine... I am lost
