I had a 79 Eldorado with the diesel to Olds gas conversion. Was like owning a 60s car to work on. Interior and exterior body parts are difficult to impossible to find
What!? Older more reliable than newer. Haha. Talk to an owner. Those reliability scales are so bad sometimes. The radio ranks the same as the intake manifold. Not to me. 1991-93 had the 4.9L workhorse. 90 had the 4.5 port injected. Pretty good. They are all more reliable than the Northstar but by now are most likely beat to death. I loved my 1990. The more square body style holds up.
