Digital Advertising file?

I was looking at revo-uninstaller and noticed a program named Digital Advertising alliance....beta. The symbol is a side ways blue triangle. What does it do for me? Anything to do with all the advertisements on the "new" Yahoo? Ed

Interesting dparm: If I uninstall it, I will still get advertisments but, not those targeting my likes & dislikes?

I don't know for sure. Targeted advertising means they watch your browsing habits and slowly adjust the ads you see to match. i.e. if you visit a lot of car sites, you'll start getting ads for Chevy, Honda, auto mechanics, car insurance, etc.

You'll still get ads in your browser, but they'll probably be the generic ones.

Either way, I would remove it. It's a huge privacy issue.
