They are pricey but last much longer than the nonsense made by Johnson/Interstate. The Interstate on my Lexus is rated for 800 Amps but when tested it only cranks 620 Amps. My mechanic only uses Deka and swears by it - he even told me there is no battery like a Deka.
The lead used is 60% more on the plates and they don't eat themselves off over time much like the thin lead plate batteries.
