Is there a good site for researching "who owns who" in the corporate world?

For instance, many years ago Kawasaki motorcycles was owned by a group that also made nuclear submarines.

I know that stock/trading sites like Yahoo, etc, can be helpful, but sometimes aren't always specific about a company's holdings.

Didn't know if there was a site that focused on corporate ownerships or not.

A publicly traded company will have an Annual report that lists their operations and brags about their brands. An annual report is different that the SEC filings and is found on the corporation's website.

The private equity organizations do not usually publicize what they own so it requires a much thorough research to find this kind of information.

What your looking for is called a 10k. It will tell what brands a company owns.

If the company is a wholly owned subsidiary, it will not have a 10k.You would have to find the parent company and that parent would have have stock traded in the U.S.

Foreign corps may not have stock traded on U.S. exchanges but may have ADRs.

Nice site. Thanks.

Kind of makes you start thinking that the conspiracy theories about the world being run by a small group of people have merit.

The FED just wrote a blank check to support European banks. Notice any legislative action by elected representatives? No?

It's funny that the site doesn't mention any unelected regulators that hold the real power.
