Citgo Supergard syn. blend 5w30??

Hi everyone...its been a while since I've posted here.

I just picked up 6qts @ $2.69/qt in a local grocery store. It was surprisingly cheaper than the conventional Supergard on the shelf next to it, so I thought it might be a good deal. I've been running GTX 5w30 bulk(4k OCIs) year-round with no issues. Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?

I bought it while on sale at Farm and Fleet for my Malibu last year. Worked just fine through a Wisconsin winter. No change in sound, feel, consumption vs other conventionals or PP that I ran in the car before I sold it.

I put that in my brothers car because it is a junker and that was the cheapest oil $1.99 at the auto parts store. I think its the same as trop artic?? But I'm not really sure. a syn blend for $1.99 is crazy.

[censored] yo0u guys got this cheap! My local food store, Grade A market, seels Citgo 5w30 synth blend for $4.99 a quart@!!! Boy do i feel gyped now
