A mediocre lawyer will still be very good, if for no other reason than to be a cheerleader for your cause and help you get your head on straight. He can refer you to a better more specialized lawyer if necessary. Pick up the yellow pages and call around, I'd call the local guy that doesn't have the full page ad spread (and they mostly do).
