i need a little help
2 days ago a friend of mine bought me a Castrol Oil
Castrol Magnatec 5-40 DPF
My question is:
is this oil right for my car?
I own a
MercedesBenz W203 C220 CDI 2001 stationwagon

What is the spec for oil for your vehicle? 229.3, .31, .5 or .51?

Castrol Magnatec Diesel 5W-40 DPF is on there as well, so you should be good to go.

my only issue is that DPF extension on oil type
5w-40 DPF
hope is ok for my car

DPF no doubt means it is OK with the mercedes Diesel Particulate filter. As such, it will be a low SAPS oil and probably similar to Castrol LL03 for VW 507.00.

Fairly simple. If the bottle of the oil your friend gave you has this spec, you're good to go!
