So a good friend of mine that lives near my workplace calls me last night. Had his oil changed at quick lube and car is a 2009 Ford Focus, 2.0 automatic trans. They installed this obviously incorrect filter on his car. He was having startup noise also. Luckily I have 2 FRAM E.G. 3614's left so he stopped this morning. I put on a Extra Guard 3614 and Maxlife syn 5w20 he brought. Quick lube stupidity lives I see. SMH and enjoy the pics. Filter made September 23, 2016 Line "D" and 2nd shift. Car has 178,444 mikes on it and very clean btw.

as usual.

This is the good Carquest red version I think??? Remember my Altima had a start up rattle with that puro yellow.

I'm pretty sure this 85334 is 20x1.5mm and a 3614 size is 3/4-16, Quick lubes, smh. Thanks for the C&P.

bbhero: this is garbage "Tearolator" not the good FRAM made one.

Farmer: surprisingly, filter wasn't leaking but ADBV was kinda soft

Ohh wow... Yeah no good at all. As you well know the Fram extra guards have been looking really good lately. Hard to beat.
