I'm surprised at the rather generic looking nitrile (I assume) gasket. The CQ Premium I use on my Nissan Frontier has a shaped silicone seal with an inner lip that keys into a slot on the filter's base. That's a far superior design in my opinion.

"Hydrigebated" no less. Whatever that gives ya ... guess it's good for a 20K OCI or 1 year, which ever happens first.I'm surprised at the rather generic looking nitrile (I assume) gasket.
That's known as a "P-gasket" style base gasket. The cross section of it is shaped like the letter "P".The CQ Premium I use on my Nissan Frontier has a shaped silicone seal with an inner lip that keys into a slot on the filter's base. That's a far superior design in my opinion.

This is and the fact it’s meshed backed puts in the company of very few now.Premium Guard Extended Life doesn't have full synthetic media.
It is most likely going to be 99%+ at 20 Microns directly competing with the FRAM Endurance.Unless the efficiency numbers come back at something like 99.9% at 15 microns I think I will just stick with the regular Carquest Premium
World affairs in trade. Is labor going up in VN or are the owners pockets getting fuller? Not bad but VN.
Some iPhone production is moving there too …World affairs in trade.
All of those great pictures but what is the efficency at 20 Microns?
No deal at the money they are asking you can get better for half the cost.If it was a snake, it woulda bit ya.
Best we can offer you is efficiency at 25 microns. Deal or no deal?

I don’t like the cost for 5k oci’s. But if I was doing extended oci’s or once per year(my Jeep) it’s an option. No deal at the money they are asking you can get better for half the cost.
If only we could get a BITOG commercial account going with AAP to drive our costs down...I don’t like the cost for 5k oci’s. But if I was doing extended oci’s or once per year(my Jeep) it’s an option.
