Here is a few pictures of my 2002 Z28 that I just waxed. Can you guess what I used?
The shine is pretty good and deep even on this very cloudy day. Notice the clouds in the reflections? If the sun was out this wax would shine with the best of them.

You can see me in this picture.

This is the hood, notice all the damm clouds! If it was sunny the shine would be 10X better!

Meguiars ColorX could have done that...kind of an all in one product.

But you never said how this was applied or how many layers...so its kinda hard to determine how much work went into it...and just one product? How bad was the car to start off with? I get the impression its normally well maintained.

Probably Zaino since most f-body owners use it.

I find my black Corvette shines better with NXT than it does with Zaino Z2 though (the old formula Z2 mind you)

I kid you not!

All I have ever used on this car is Nu Finish since it was new 4 years ago. It gets a fresh coat every 4 to 6 months. Even at 6 months old the paint still beads like it was just put on.

I know lots of guys on here trash Nu Finish and it might not be the best for pure shine but for pure protection and durrability I feel Nu Finish is the absolute best! But heak, it shines pretty damm good and the pictures speek for them selves! I'll try to get a good picture on a nice sunny day and post it just to compair.

Anyway hope you liked the pictures and keep those cars waxed and shined!

I'll second that....Nu Finish is all I ever used on my bright red 93 Sundance, and the car looked brand new when I traded it in in 1997. I just wish microfiber detailing towels had been around back then....when this stuff gets into cracks or the edges of pinstripes / decals, it's a biotch to get off.

wow!! im impressed! ill have to try this stuff. ive been using zaino with good results but after 2-3 coats on a nissan titan its an all day job!

One coat takes me about 5 hours only because I do every nook and cranny. Inside of the doors, hood and trunk take as long as the outside of the whole body. Even though you done see those areas they still need protection.

Once you get it on, Nu Finish is extreemly easy to wipe off and feels very slick for a long, long time.

Nu-Finish has always been a good product. I learned of this stuff in the middle 80's. It is easy to remove but very dusty,(needs CALIFORNIA DUSTER when finished).

HA, I like this stuff too. It does a good job with minimal effort and last a long time. I do think it's a little harsh with solvents though. I use it prior to winter for its durability. It's also a great product to apply to rims makes future clean ups much easier.

It'll never get accepted until you repackage it, state on the instructions that you need to wash the car with distilled water and handmade soap from the Carpathian mountains, and at least triple the price.

How is it harsh? Just curious as to what you noticed while using it.
