You made me curious, so I took everything out of the trunk and looked. Undercoating was reapplied as was factory looking seam sealer.

It's welded in, seam sealer goes on top of it all.

Looks like they did a great job!
 
Surprised at how good of repair your body shop performed. You did better than most on this occurrence. If you keep the vehicle for years down the road the pain will be greatly mitigated. Thumbs up for you sir.
