Buying Honda Coolant locally in DC area

I bought the OEM Honda at Pepboys on sale and didn't use it (sold my Acura). So I exchanged it for the OEM Pink for Toyota with my receipt. Any chance you could return the Peak to Pepboys and get a store credit or exchange.

Or ask any to match bernardi. The worst they can do is say no.

Dealers in NOVA, moment or second they hear 'online' they say we can't match it

No, because it was recently flushed by honda dealer and it has blue stuff in it, so I rather stick to it. But at least now I have better alternatives

Thanks all.

Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking to do it!!!

I'll give it a try.

So then either the shipped price online is less or more. Often these parts guys make their money in inflated shipping costs.

When I was doing a Civic radiator change a few years ago, got my local dealer to do a price match for Type2. I was vague about whether it was another local Honda dealer or an online price. Got him to match at $15 and change, which was a great price for it then. In addition to a couple gallons Type2, also purchased a tstat and a couple OEM hoses below list and I've bought parts there before. Back then it was $19 and change a gallon list, which ime is generally what like to get if they can. I did the same (price match) with some wiper blade refills too. Never hurts to ask. But if they want to include the online price including shipping, usually more than paying list at dealer.

All that said, at ~$14/gallon currently for the PepBoys OEM Blue Concentrate, if one was nearby that's what I'd be using. Great deal, not sure how long it will last as regular ~$22 gallon.

I had forgotten about the new-ish blue tint ZAF when this thread came up. $14/gal reasonable price if your local Napa or any AP store carries it. Matches Type2 tint too.

I'd still lean to the PB OEM Blue Concentrate at it's current sale price, twice the AF for the same price.
