Buffalo Milke offers a product called Bug Melt. It loosens up the bugs and does not strip wax. I also use it when cleaning grass stains off my mower decks. It works much better than products like Spray Nine, which dulls the finish.

I coat the leading edges of my car in May fly melt. When it rains sum of the bugs wash off

I use hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle for bug removal. Works great on motorcycle windshields and fairings.

I just soak a few old towels with warm water and drape/stick them on the bugged up areas while I wash the rest of the car. Once the rest is washed (maybe 10-15 minutes later), I remove the towels and almost all of the bug splatter comes off while I wash. Rinse and hang the towels to dry and you are ready for next time.
