Haha yeah I bet, if I do ever go anywhere for an oil change (until I'm out of an apartment) it would be Basil on Walden. But I'll do them myself.

Towne on Southwestern. Had a really good time and the salesman was a friend. Did the A-Plan and then went through all of the applicable credits/rebates. Had no idea that since we already owned a 2017 Taurus we'd get a loyalty credit. That was cool.
IDK what combo oil/filter I want to run, but if I was to walk into a Wally World tomorrow I'd probably pick up 6qts of Mobil 1 EP 5W-30 and the correct Motorcraft filter. This engine has a cartridge filter on the top. Truthfully I haven't searched here yet to see what anyone else is running or how hard this thing is on oil.
This little 2.7 is a rocket. Plenty of power for the daily driven 1/2 ton. My exact truck is rated at 6,800lbs towing. I doubt I'd ever be near that. Maybe 5k in towing my Regal, 3-4k in a camping trailer or a couple of ATVs on a trailer. ATV in the bed, etc. Truck suits me super well. I've seen 21-24 mpg on the dash already, but who knows how accurate that is.
Thank you all.
