All of the options are gone from the bottom of the page on Safari - MacOS. I have to go into preferences to change. The last thing on the page is "Hop To:"

A few more darker skins would be nice, BITOG - DARK is almost too dark, RED/GRAY is ... uh ... not aesthetically pleasing ... and all of the others are some form of White and ____

Edit gone on iOS 12 too. Don't really see the big difference on mobile from the old

Get rid of Recent Topics (side of page) please. Nothing on the left or the right, except thread titles or replies. Put Newest Members / Who's Online / Donate To Bitog and Forum Stats on the bottom of the page.

Concerning colors, (too bright) Red/Gray is really most White. Find one with a mostly Gray background. The Dark Theme is too dark for me...... irritating to read for long spells.

Yes I see it now. Thank you!

Using Google chrome for desktop on this machine. There is a page squish when I click on a forum.

For example, if I go to visit the PCMO forum, all the thread titles are squished together because the bottom half of the web page is blank. Half the web page is blank, so the thread titles are squished together making it hard to read. Thread titles need better spacing.

Not sure if this is intended for mobile users or what, but it looks awful on desktop.

I figured out what is happening.

--Make sure to save changes in preferences because just switching themes does not change how the page is displayed.

--The BITOG Red Gray has the proper spacing in the forum thread titles, and the bottom half of web page is blank.

--All of the UBB themes cause thread titles in whatever chosen forum to be too close together. The bottom half of web page is blank.

--All of the Ventura themes have the proper thread title spacing in whatever chosen forum, but the bottom half of web page is blank.

Anybody else seeing this happening on desktop Google chrome?

I'm not seeing any spacing issues with any of the styles. Using an old version of Firefox here on a Win 7 machine.

EDIT: Just tried it in Chrome - I'm not seeing any spacing/sizing issues with any of the styles either.

BigD1, can you post a screenshot of the problem areas you're seeing?

Looks fine to me in Google Chrome on my MacBook. Here's the bottom of the forum list.

Not the forum list. My forum list looks fine.

I am talking about clicking on a forum, and then looking at the thread titles.

I could get a snippit of the thread titles that the spacing is wrong, but there is no way I can get a snippit of the whole page because it is huge...bottom half of page is a big blank except for the option to choose a theme at the very bottom.

Thanks, Wayne.

But is there a way to force the left column to show up on a mobile phone, short of explicitly requesting the desktop version of the page to be pushed to your mobile browser?

Set your "Maximum number of Threads to show per page " to more than 10 (which is forum default). If you set to 50, there will be no blank space at the bottom.

YAY!!!

This will also "fix" the blank space if the left column is off.

Thanks on fixing these things, I know upgrades can be painful, but you can count me as a happy user now...

Forum thread titles Red Gray snippit.

Forum thread titles Zen snippit.

These snippits are actually showing on my screen a good bit larger than what they actually are when I am viewing forum thread titles. But it shows exactly what I am talking about.

Look at thread title BITOG forum software upgrade tomorrow morning. Now look at by wwilson. Now look at the spacing between by wwilson and the next thread title. Red Gray theme thread title spacing is spot on. The Zen thread title spacing is too close causing a jammed together look.

We believe the width problem on mobile devices is fixed. Please let me know if you have to scroll left or right to see the whole page on a mobile device..

I like the Zen spacing, the red gray takes up too much space, causing much more scrolling.

With the Zen spacing, I see twice the number of threads on a page without scrolling.

Hey Wayne, one question, where is the donate link??
