they advertise this treatment on espn radio, is it snake oil?

BG makes great products. If you've heard of BG 44K which is highly rated this product is roughly 1/4-1/3 the strength but contains additives to combat ethanol problems. Great to use about every 5,000 miles.

My shop sells bg products. My rep said it was pretty much the same thing as BG CF5 but they are trying to market it better so they put Ethanol on the description. BG CF5 is about 1/3 the strength as 44K with ethanol treatment chemicals added. Recommends every 5,000 miles or every oil change
