Bad exhaust smell with Rislone?

I am about 500 miles into using a quart of Rislone with 3 1/2 quarts of shell sl rated dino oil. Other night, i left my car idling for warm up for a good 20 minutes, drove, and car shaked mad crazy! Parked it for a while, drove, and then drove ok. I have noticed a burnt smell coming from exhaust... any ideas on whats going on? It smells like burnt metal or something...

car in question, is a 1995 plymouth neon, 99,775 miles. PLanning on running the rislone, for 1,500 max!

Yeah,i had thought it was burning oil, but if it is burning oil, is it because of the rislone? Something else perhaps?

Maybe it cleaned around the rings or the valve stem seals. Both would allow oil into the chamber.

I am doing the same thing with the wifes 99000 mile toyota v6. No smell at all. But I'm running a heavy techron flush at the same time on the fuel system. Then it will get another 99000 on Maxlife. I'm only going 1000 on the rislone. But I have used it before and never had any stink. You must have something else going on.

Well, it snowed BAD here other night, with rain, and i was driving/hydroplaining like crazy in it. I jsut checked my oil level, on an inclined driveway, and it lookslike its a quart low! Could that also be the cause of the bad burnt smell? Oil sitll looks nice and golden colored, but its a quart low ide say.

Inclined driveway oil level? Not too accurate!

Something else, coincidence! Shaked like crazy? Clean the snow and ice off the rims. And make sure your plugs are good and that the injectors aren't clogged. Neons have their own issues when they get old.

I know its not that accurate lol ; ) I had no choice, the city plowed al the forzen solid snow into my parking space, so i had ot park in driveway, and with the occurances happening at same time, kinda threw things off. I basically just let the car idle for about 20 minutes, driving 33 miles home, the sterring wheel shook msotly outta control! Then would shift to the body, back and forth, scared the #@$%! outta me, felt like iw as drvig on rims only! Then it stopped, so i figured, the Rislone had something to do with it.

just the opposite the rislone should smooth out the engine. It's doing a nice job on the wifes toyota so far.
