Yes, it's UV-blocking properties are one of it's big selling points.
I'm always surprised when people say it doesn't work well outdoors; it's marketed for use on, and recommended by manufacturers of, stuff like awnings, boat seats, convertible tops etc. ?

I wouldn't say it doesn't work well as a tire dressing, it's just a dust magnet...although More Shine Less Time does last longer, look better, and attracts less dust IMO...

Have used 303 for about 10 years now, I bought a Larson 180 SE and in the manual for the interior they said to use only 303 for the UV protection. The boat is ten years old now and the interior still looks new. But for tires, like all the other posts have said not the best choice.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I have noticed it doesn't last too well in the rain (on the tires at least). That doesn't concern me too much since I will want to wash the car again after it gets dirty in the rain and I don't mind re-applying then. I will give some of the other mentioned products a try as well.

On a side note, I did use some 303 on the black plastic trim pieces on my parent's 2000 Villager and after the first rain it did seem to streak quite a bit. Maybe it just needs another application? There wasn't any streaking on my 3-series plastic after it has rained.
