Anyone still take baths?

We had change rooms at work. I would run or cycle to work, and shower and change there.
Yeah we have those at work, but I don't think I had access to showers at college, once I moved off campus. Maybe I could have snuck into a dorm and showered, but eh. I wasn't that much of a mess that it was a problem. Was just the concept of showering before working out... didn't seem to make sense.

Now at work, when we did group rides at lunchtime, yeah it was pretty critical to shower up afterward!

No. I do have a tub.
The younger families that visit bath their kids in it mostly and prefer to shower, although smaller kids still like a bubble bath.

I wont use it unless unless Im injured and a hot soak might help, I usually prefer a shower.

I do like warm/ hot water immersion and when I live in my LA house I used the jacuzzi all the time.

Here in the country even though I have a very low cost per gallon of water Im running a series of filters and treatments and dual pumps for every drop that I pull from the ground, with awesome end results, but it simply feels wasteful and not the way to prioritize use of the gear and resources.

Bath time is good for me. Hot water and epsom salt can help relieve pain. Once every six months or so I get a cooler full of ice to take a frigid bath to help with inflamation.
The rest of the week, showers for ridding me of body odor and saving water. Very aware of how much water I use and take that into account.

I used to shower in the morning.. liked the wakeup.
After getting a sweaty(er) job.. I 100% switched to after work shower.
shower 99.9% of time.
Bath about once a year usually on a vacation.

Hot Springs, yes, absolutely. Pagosa Springs and Mt Princeton in CO, Ojo Calinte and Truth or Consequences NM.

In cultures where it's an ingrained part of their history, baths are ritualistic as much as practical, with protocols that should be followed to reduce the "ick" factor.

The Japanese clean themselves before entering their baths.

One reason I stopped going to the gym over 20 years ago was that people would not shower before going into the pool. The gym also had an outdoor pool and hot tubs. Some nimrods would undress at the poolside and enter the hot tub or pool in their underwear after a day at work. "Hi there!"
