Love the birds. Feed them seed cakes, suet cakes and often peanuts. Was reading articles on importance of fresh water access in winter for birds so I bit the bullet and bought my first bird bath heater. 70 watt model.
They better not keep me up at night with their hot tub parties!

Anyone else use a bird bath heater?

Don't have one but I've found it incredible how cold birds are willing to take the polar plunge to bath. I suppose it's better than having bugs and debris building up on them. It's always an amazing site to see wildlife in action & I'm sure you'll get some hot tub action.

You would think they wouldn't want to bathe in cold weather but they will. It is strange.
