The data is from the spec sheet for some new grease I got. Anyone recognize the chemicals? I'm wondering about EP protection and anti-rust properties for my application.

Thanks.

Grease, Aircraft Ordnance. Supposed to have a working range from -50C to 70C. I'm planning on using it on some guns where I want a thicker lube than the oil I currently use.

With lithium soap as the base and barium as an AW additive. I think it would work pretty good for most gun parts. Decent rust prevention. A car grease may be a bit better for stainless slides as far AW goes, but this grease would work OK as well.

nothing on this sepc spells out any load carrying data or additves.

There is NO AW/EP addivte listed here just the base grease and a Ani oxidant i would think not to high on a AW/EP level.
