In my area I'd have to live in a $1.25M property before I'd hit the limit.

I paid our cabin in WI taxes early, house in IL get paid with mortgage

I pay about the same for combined school and local property. For that they grade my dirt road 2x a year and plow the snow. Trash I pay for, and I have a well and septic. The town does have one day a year they allow you to bring construction materials and other junk to a town dumpster.
My kids are married with kids so no school.
