Anybody Else Underwhelmed by Takeout Pizza?

Went by Papa Murphy's on the way home from work one day last week. Hadn't been there in years, as I used to go there quite a bit when I lived in Memphis about 5 years ago and kinda got tired of it.

Decided to give them a try again, and I'm glad I did!

I went with the Papa's Favorite (basically a Supreme) on the Fresh Pan crust, and it was a the best pizza I've had in a long time. Really good.

Best part was, I thought I was getting a pretty good deal at the $14 price that was advertised on the menu. When the girl rang it up, it was $10! I asked if she was sure that was the right price for a large. She responded that all large pizzas were on special that day.

Service was very good, too. All the employees were very friendly.

So, I can highly recommend Papa Murphy's Pizza. I'll definitely go back.

If you're not familiar with it, it's Take & Bake. You bake it at home.

NY pizza was invented when the cook showed up one day with a raging hangover. He forgot the dough, and put all the toppings on the cardboard disk that goes under the pizza.

Reginas is best in North end
