Trying to avoid paying Motocraft prices. What companies make oil that meets the Ford spec? Ford F150 V-8 non-turbo engine. 0-W20 oil. Thanks in advance.

Walmart sells Motorcraft oil and it's not an outrageous price. Supertech, Castrol, Valvoline, etc are all generally less expensive but only a few dollars less.

Might be worth considering something other than a 20W oil in a cam phaser engine. There is lots of info on the subject here.

The Motorcraft oil is just P66 with a label change.
Boon. I'm not familiar with the term "P66". Can you tell me what it means?

Oh, man. Never mind. I didn't think of Phillips, but mostly we don't get any Phillips in PA except for aviation products.

My buddy has a 2016 F150 w/ Coyote and uses M1 5w30, said that the 20w makes them tick or something.

We just use Motorcraft 5W-20 in my 2014 Mustang GT and in my fiancé's 2017 F150 with the 5.0. I may go up to a 5W-30 at some point.
