I've seen on gm-trucks.com that folks are using the UPF48R filters on their 6.0 L 2500HD pickups. Since after reading some posts here & on gm-trucks.com, I'm leery about replacing the PF48E w/ the longer PF63E that the current 5.3L & 6.2L use. But I would like to use a "better/premium" filter due to following the OLS & longer drain intervals. That is why I'm leaning towards the UPF48R.
