I think they would rather sell the UPF filters with silicone ADBV, higher burst pressure, etc. The standard PF is more like a basic (although pretty good) lower end filter.

I don't think the UPF filters have had silicone ADBVs for some time...at least the UPFs I've bought the last 2 years have been black in color and I suspect they are nitrile...
