I bought the Yokohamas last July at 179,XXX miles last July and just found out they only have a 65,000 mile warranty for the V rated tires. Call Honda and told them where I was mileage wise and the Service Mgr chuckled and said you guys might get to 100,000 miles on this set. Never expected them to go this long. Been a big fan of Yokohama since I can remember. Currently almost at 268,xxx. Lots of tire rotation, nitrogen and no gravel, peeling out or over 100mph,no tire 🛞 shine either.

1) VG+, Congrats. However well the tires were made, you deserve a nod.
I'm with rotation, no grinding off rubber or slamming the tread into the road, but what did the nitrogen contribute?

2) A fellow at a Canadian tidal bore had a Honda, the tires of which were replaced "early"-at 80K- before Summer's long driving.
It seems they know how to make good ones.

3) Oh, the OE Michelin MX4Vplus tires on a friend's AccordV6 lasted 100K.

4) Why can't tire companies cut the bovex and just offer tires for concomitant money?

I don't know if the nitrogen helps, but it sure doesn't hurt that I am certain. My TPMS never comes on, yet on the other car with air it does during extreme weather. I am still just excited that they have got me as far as they have.

How much tread is left? Can you make it to Black Friday? :D
I will try and show soon. I am sure they are probably at 4/32 or 5. Yokohama has this new orange oil that they put inside their tires that is supposedly makes them last longer. I need also to change out at the very least my front struts. wish I will probably do before 300,000 with either Monroe or KYB whichever ones I can get locally.
