Irving oil 0w-40 HTHS is about 3.8.

IDO 5W-40 ALSO HTHS>3.5

The website don't say if THEY meets A3/B3.Do you think if it can be used on euro car ?Thank you.

Hard to say, but since it doesn't officially carry the A3 spec, then I wouldn't use it for an extended oil change interval like is typical in Euro applications.

What car/engine are you asking about specifically?

3.8 is a pretty feble HTHS number for a 40 weight oil. Heck one can get 3.8 in a 10w30 weight oil (RedLine).

3.8 is easy to achieve with narrow spread (like 10w30). Not so much with a 0w-40 spread. Even M1 0w-40 only has an HT/HS of 3.7.
