Except for hotrodding (toy cars), I don't understand why you'd want a higher stall converter. Won't it generate significantly more heat? Doesn't seem good for transmission life, especially in a work vehicle. After all, you have a large displacement v8, not a 4 cylinder torqueless wonder.
The Torque converter is a HIGHER stall over stock, its an RV type convertor. Nothing erratic. Will help with getting it into power band a little sooner.
