Hercules has been around since 1960 or so. It's a Cooper sub-brand, and Cooper is now a Goodyear brand.

I get to drive all over the place for my job. A good bit of time with medium duty trucks. Tires are a non stop problem, I now purchase nothing but Michelin truck tires. Yes, I know the Michelin tires often show sidewall cracks at 5 years, which is cosmetic. I also know they hold up, and don't leak, develop flat spots or come apart while in the middle of nowhere.

Michelin Agilis HD Z Is the best option. Another nice option is BFGoodrich Route Control S is less $$.
