2024 4Runner ... Port-Injection or Direct-Injection?

Our new 2024 4Runner has the “4.0L DOHC 24-Valve V6 w/ Dual Independent VVT-i”

Is it PI or DI? I have been finding information stating both, or PI. No clue and am curious.

Second, being that this will be our vacation vehicle and my vehicle that I tow with occasionally, any recs on 0W-20 for this? I can find ST on sale at my Wally-world roughly twice a year along with QSUD 0W-20. Figured either will do this engine just fine.

Look on the intake manifold. If there's injectors it's port injection or dual injection. If not then it's direct injection.

If you find a camshaft driven fuel pump or steel fuel lines with compression fittings then it probably has direct injection.

As far as I know - it is still port injection, same as it has been since 2003. Eventually that 4.0 will get replaced by the 2.4T from the Tacoma... That one is both GDI and MPI.
