2021 seems like a bad year for Walmart mower batteries

I have battery tender juniors for all of my tractors and mowers.

Sometimes they can read charged.. perhaps reading 13.5v somehow, but they can’t turn over an engine.

That's a static measurement, no load. That alone doesn't indicate the cranking ability of the battery.

You can't fault the battery when it is left out in the cold all winter without maintaining its charge by many.
