It sure didn't add much moly to the sample.
Yeah 14ppm moly, you may as well have dumped fairy farts in. Save your money. Nice UOA.

The oil looks like Mobil 1 0w30esp which is listed under virgin oil analysis around page 9 or ten.

Mercedes no longer uses Mobil 1 0w40 at the dealer level. There is a Mercedes branded 5w40 that is being used. Not sure who makes it though.

True. I think they stopped using the M1 at the dealers because of the sponsorship from Petronas in F1 Racing.
But, I think M1 bottles the MB brand oil. Or at least they get their bottles from the same vendor. Compare the MB bottle to the Mobil Super bottle:
Only difference is the plastic color. Label sticker is even the same shape.
I wish M1 made a 5W-40 for sale over the counter..

Pretty sure they do. I accidentally bought it for my Benz one time.
They make M1 0W-40, but no 5W-40.
