A good thing. Market is offering something I always disliked in the smaller efficient car market prior, lack of premium interiors. I like leather with kids much better than cloth.
But the civic isnt a premium car...
You can get leather in far worse cars than the Civic. It was available in the Saturn S-series, Neons, etc.
Yeah but it is laughable in all of them. The last thing a buyer of one of these econobox buyers needs is to waste an additional $1000 on leather, when they likely cant afford the car as it stands.
That said, Id consider buying a civic Si, and if it forced me to have leather, Id take it.
Vinyl is by far a superior material, and I wouldnt think twice about taking that.
