Changed fuel injectors from Rochester to "upgraded" bosch type......(long crank when hot, common to Vortec 7400)

Found a "slight leak" in the exhaust manifold.........replaced with Banks Power Pack..........and wow what a power difference

More pics to come of my custom air intake I had to make due to a from front tire blowout and carnage.

My father's Class A motorhome, on a GM chassis, cracked a few sets of exhaust manifolds. He has a Banks Power pack system installed and was very pleased. Hugh power increase and better mpg's as well. I think it was an 8.1L port injected version, maybe 2004 or so. Nice work!

the exhaust manifolds are a thing on these evidently. They run hot, get heat soaked and crack.......not much of an issue on the trucks, but Rv loaded down yes.

The kit for the headers was 1300, new exhaust manifolds were 800......no brainer there. The kit went together factory. I did relocate some wires for the starter. made my own buss bar for easier chageout in the field. Great kit from Banks

The cats in the pic are hollow

Throw some glass packs on that thing and let’s hear it!
It is catless but pretty mello, I dont want to be hearing glass packs all day in the Rv. The exhaust is about 15ft long, nice rumble.
