    2015 duramax, UOA schaeffer's 15 40

I always thought the same thing. Change every 12 months regardless of the use. But clearly with uoa's I haven't seen any reason to.

    2015 duramax, UOA schaeffer's 15 40

Thanks! I've been a schaeffer's user for years on vehicles and equipment and I'm really convinced that there isn't much difference between running delvec or schaeffer's with the low hrs/miles put on per year.

    Mobil Delvac 1300 teardown video

We have a fleet of 6 semi's we change every 12k with delvec. Overkill? Maybe but it's cheap insurance and 2 trucks have over 35k hours and never been touched inside

    2015 duramax, UOA schaeffer's 15 40

Ok thanks, 90% is pulling my fithwheel camper weighs around 11k dry. Unless I'm not reading it correctly, I thought schaeffer's had a lot of moly and higher zinc? From this sample it doesn't look much different than a sample I saw of Mobil delvec 1300 for a dino oil. Any insight on that?

    2015 duramax, UOA schaeffer's 15 40

Ok thanks kinda what I was thinking. Is it something to go by 12 months or actually go by the drain intervals? I figured a year was long enough

    2015 duramax, UOA schaeffer's 15 40

There was 4550 miles on the oil. Just wondering if there is really much difference of protection from this versus a dino oil if only going to put around 5k miles a year? Don't care about the cost just the best product

    2015 duramax, UOA schaeffer's 15 40

First sample on this truck after 1st run on schaeffer's. Miles from the whole year is the only reason I changed it.

question about kendall and schaeffer 15w40

Schaeffer's is no snake oil been using it for 12 years. In semi's guys are running 60k drain intervals with clean UOA to go farther. This buy far would make it a good choice

    07.5 LMM duramax 5-40 Schaeffer's 60k miles on oil

This is really neat to see! I've used schaeffer's for 13 years now and have been hooked to it. I don't put the miles or hours on equipment like you are getting but nice to know that it's good for a lot longer! Best stuff out there in my opinion.

i agree love the 6.0 no matter how many people hate them just something about them when you drive one it's hard to want to drive another breed. I'm trying to figure out if i should continue using brad penn 15w40. or trying rotella t6? we've been using brad penn here on our dairy farm and love it.
