If the permatex ultra gray is listed as an interchange I would use the right stuff gray

right stuff is the best for making oil pan gaskets

I have used maxlife in my 2002 corolla and 2007 rav4 with great results.

common sense, coolant is cheap, engines are expensive. running coolant that diluted makes no sense anyhow, even in the summer.

Mac will be dead soon anyhow. They are pretty much an import tool company anyhow and not worth the price. Say what you will about snap on their warranty is still top notch.

I've had the brown oily stuff form when using watter wetter with Dexcool. It gets dissolved back into solution when the coolant gets hot. Looks nasty but I don't think it harms anything. As far as seeing a coolant temp change. I did not others including an article out there in cyber space...
